Staub Tajine
-> cast iron base and ceramic top
A staple of Morocan self-basting cuisine, the Staub Tajine replaces the traditional heavy clay base wit cast iron to permit browning of meat and vegetables before cooking. A ceramic cone-shaped dome lid promotes condensation that in turn falls to baste the meal preparation. When all is cooked, simply remove the dome lid and the base becomes an excellent serving vessel.
